Just so you know, Carbonite launched its online backup service in May 2006. Its industry-first offer of unlimited backup space for a flat low price revolutionized the market for consumer and small business backup services. So far, Carbonite has backed up over 3 billion files and more importantly, restored over 200 million files that would have been lost forever.
These are some serious numbers and since that time they have launched in Canada, The UK and Australia. You’ll go a long way before you find a better service.

Carbonite: I love it and so does my iPhone
Yes, even your Iphone can love Carbonite so said Shuny1 earlier this month. In summary ….”After the painfully slow first time backup, the program runs unobtrusively in the background. It is not a resource hog. I currently have it running on a six year old computer.
As with any insurance, I hope I don’t need it. In the meantime, I use the iPhone app almost daily to view files on my computer when I’m away and sometimes even when I’m at home but my computer is not on. Just that alone is worth it.
My one dealing with customer service was very quick. I had signed up through Kim’s website and was supposed to receive a two week trial and then two months free on signing up. I didn’t get it. I wrote to customer service and received a positive reply and fix by the next day.
I definitely recommend this software. I hope I don’t have to use it for a complete backup but in the meantime my iPhone and I love it.”

Carbonite Is A Fantastic Backup
That is the view of “asher435″ who basically says he/she no longer has tp worry about their laptop being stolen or getting lost or destroyed because Carbonite is always there ready with the data recovery services.
